Technology: The tablet Dell Latitude 10

The Dell Latitude 10 is a Tablet of the 10-inch class, providing a screen diagonal of 10.1 inches. However, unlike most of its competitors, uses the Latitude 10 is not android as an operating system, but Windows 8.The Latitude 10 Tablet PC compatible hardware has thus under the “hood”. The built-in 10.1-inch IPS panel offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and unfortunately it no Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Dell offers the tablet in different versions, e.g. with safety package with 64 GB or 128 GB of flash memory.

The delivery depends on the selected version of the Latitude 10 and the options chosen by the buyer. The basic equipment the tablet is Windows 8 operating system, a removable 2-cell 30 Wh battery, an AC adapter and a few pages of documentation. From Dell is available for the tablet all kinds of accessories that you can order from the order with the same, but this also suggests a higher price to book. The device is equipped with Windows 8 Pro 32 bit equipped and as accessories – a 4-cell battery with 60 Wh, a docking station with power supply, an active input pin by renowned graphic tablet manufacturer Wacom and a durable carrying case from Timbuk2. There is yet another accessory, such as a keyboard or an external DVD drive.

The Dell Latitude 10 tablet is at first sight no “eye-catcher”, but there are simply more business-like. The housing comprises a lightweight magnesium alloy, which is provided with a coating, which is the grip between the gumming and slightly rough plastic. The front panel is equipped with a protective plate made of Gorilla Glass from Corning provided, under which is located the 10.1-inch IPS panel.

The Latitude 10 is not exactly small or light: the size of the tablet is 274 x 176.6 x 10.5 mm and comes with a 2-cell 30 Wh, the standard battery is 658 grams. The front page of the Windows tablets is simple, just two points fall to the viewer in the eye: the centre on the top edge is a webcam integrated, and at the bottom is Windows button positioned with the operation, as the Windows 8 tile menu are accessed.
